Mtsvane (Qvevri)

Kakhuri Mtsvane wine comes from the village of Gulgula in the Kakhetian region. Mtsvane is one of the most widely grown white grape varieties, producing some of the finest wines in various styles. Our Kakhuri Mtsvane was fermented and matured in Qvevri for two months with full skin contact and then wine getting aged in Qvevri for six month.  The amber-coloured wine is rich with aromas of peach jam, baked pear, grapefruit, cloves, and vanilla. It offers a lovely balance between acidity and tannins with a full body. The finish is soft and rich, with a long and lingering length.
